Author Booksigning and Fundraising Event at Equine Expo/Paraphernalia Sale at Topsfield Fairgrounds

Denise Brown, author of “Wind, Wild Horse Rescue” book about wild mustangs, will be signing books and raising money for equine rescue at Essex County Trail Association’s 17th annual Equine Expo will be held Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Arena at the Topsfield Fairgrounds on Route One, Topsfield. Businesses, groups, and individuals will be selling anything equine related (new and used) as well as services for the horse and rider/driver.

Denise will also have signed, matted prints of her horse paintings, tshirts, Abenaki mini children’s book, bookmarks and buttons for sale. Stop by to talk about the equine slaughterhouse act in Congress. “Which side are you on?” survey box will be open for your suggestions.

Essex County Trail Association’s 17th annual Equine Expo EXPO will be held Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Arena at the Topsfield Fairgrounds on Route One, Topsfield.
This popular event draws over 1000 people each year. Businesses, groups, and individuals will be selling anything equine related (new and used) as well as services for the horse and rider/driver.
If you are looking to outfit the kids for the show season, upgrade your horses equipment, purchase supplements, gifts, horse statues, books or herbal products this is the place to be. We will have a table of free information, trail maps, land organizations and much more.
A demonstration ring in the building will be running all day. Planned demos include Sharon Smith—the Horse Crooner, Cathie Anderson—Bitless Bridle training, Mike Hughes- Crib Free, Dana Stillwell—twin mules, Jill Bushmann DC— horse adjustment, Julie Dillon—gaited horses and NEER—rescue pony.
A silent auction will offer many items and gift certificates for bid. There will be a food vendor with breakfast and lunch, plenty of free parking and the event is handicap accessible. An admission fee of $5 (kids under 10 are free) goes towards one of the goals of ECTA, maintaining trails in the towns of Hamilton, Wenham, Topsfield, Ipswich, Essex and West Newbury for all types of passive recreation.
