Subject: Sign the Grijalva letter to Sally Jewell
Send this letter to your representative today!

As a constituent, I’m writing to ask you to sign a letter to Interior Secretary Sally Jewell which calls on her to “step in” to reform the Bureau of Land Management’s badly broken wild horse program.

Just last week, the National Academy of Sciences released a scathing review of the program, calling it “expensive and unproductive.” Furthermore, the independent report, which the BLM itself commissioned, warned that “business as usual” will only result in unnecessary cost to wild horses and taxpayers.

Secretary Jewell owes taxpayers an answer for how she intends to follow up on the report’s recommendations. You can help ensure that we get one, and that she gets involved in the process of making much needed changes to this program.

The letter to her is being circulated on the Hill by Rep. Raul Grijalva. I encourage you to contact his office and add your name.

Thank you.
