In 2021, today it still protects wild horses and burros from hunting them to take to slaughter and to manage and control the wild horses and burros of America by the Bureau of Land Management.
They are to be considered in the area where presently found, as an integral part of the natural system of the public lands.
As long as there are wild horses and burros, they must be protected for future generations to see in the wild and not just in the movies.
